I’m looking into re-roofing my home soon and with all the different manufacturers out there, I’m confused as to which company makes the best 30 years composition roof materials. There’s ELK, OWEN CORNINGs, and CERTAINTEED. Which one should I pick? I’m looking for the thickest shingles with the best look that makes your house stands out….curb appeal.

i have a skylight that is leaking, a repairman said i would need to get some waterproof roofing material, something that has a adhesive on one side, he called it "dolphin skin" what the heck is he talking in this area?
