I’m currently in bankruptcy and own a building and live in it. I need a new roof place in really terrible and can’t find anyone to give me a loan to get this benefit. My family really depends on me and we are all struggling. I can manage a monthly payment but I just need approval. If there’s anyone who can help me or give me some advice I sure would appreciate it!

Did my roofing contractor make a mistake?
I needed some eavetroughing after my roof was place on and the eavetroughing contractor confirmed that I did not have a ‘drip edge’. I was told by the eavetroughing contractor that the the roofing contractor should have advised me of this before going yet to be and putting the roof on because it would now be incredibly hard to install the drip edge. Should I have been advised of this by the roofing contractor before he threw on the new roof?
What are the drawbacks of hiring a highly recommended roofing contractor who does not have liability insurance?
This contractor comes with excellent references (our neighbors for one), and has offered to do our roof for a excellent price. But, he warned us that he does not have liability insurance.
What does this mean? If a shingle falls on a passer-by, we could be accountable and not the roofer? Or does it not cover hurt done to our roof by the contractor?

Roofing Contractor suggested doing just half the roof for an investment property. does it make sense?

A foofing Contractor I contacted suggested a new roof for just half the roof of an investment property. He said it will cost ,800 just to do half the roof and that the other half is in a better condition. should I question him to replace the entire roof or does it really make sense what he suggests? also, it’s in Ontario Canada – is the price reasonable for half the roof of a release family 1600 sq. ft. house?
